Tregenna Castle Hotel is the perfect place for a fairytale wedding. The ivy covered castle stands in a magnificent 72 acre estate which provides far reaching sea views over St Ives, making it one of the most romantic places in Cornwall.

Tregenna Castle is licensed for weddings throughout the year which can be held in five different rooms, accommodating from two to 160 people. It is one of the few places able to offer the possibility of a true outdoor ceremony, as from May to September couples can marry under our beautiful Pavilion overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

There is an experienced team on hand to take care of your special day from the initial show round through to the big day itself. We will do everything possible to help you to create memories that you can treasure.

Tregenna Castle (in Cornish meaning the dwelling at the mouth or entrance) takes its name from the hill on which it stands. Originally built in 1774 as a 12 bedroom house, Tregenna Castle today is an impressive 3* Hotel with 81 bedrooms and over 60 self catering apartments, cottages and impressive Japanese Pole Lodges.

The view that awaits you once you’ve driven through the gates at Tregenna Castle is nothing short of spectacular. You emerge from the short tree lined drive to find yourself high above the world famous fishing village of St Ives, with a breathtaking panoramic view over the whole of the St Ives Bay and Godrevy Lighthouse. Truly, this is a magical place.

There’s an amazing choice of things to do in St Ives, so guests can enjoy the whole of their stay. Porthmeor Beach provides excellent surfing while the beautiful Porthminster, Porthgwidden and Carbis Bay beaches are close for a more relaxing stay. St Ives itself has winding streets and hidden alleyways to explore. Guests will find resident artists, galleries, Tate St Ives, The Barbara Hepworth Museum, The Leach Pottery and a wide variety of interesting shops, cafes and restaurants around the picturesque harbour and along almost every street.
